If you're wanting to play and be put on a team for the 2026 comps, sign up today. Once sign ups close a venue & time will be announced (aim to be on a weekend, or after work in a weekday evening) depending on the total number of players.

After sign ups close the date and venue will be announced within 1 week.
To lock in your spot there, a $20 fee will be required

Draft Day.

• There will be 2 or more sessions, where players will be put into teams prior to the day based on experience and position (aiming for fairly even teams for competitive trial games).

• Players will play several 7min half games in the 2 hour session to display their skills to other team managers and trial operators.

• Players may receive an "OFFER TO DRAFT" sheet from another team manager during a session. If they desire to be on that team, they'll respond accordingly and remove from the draft effective immediate.

• Remaining players on completion will be allocated into teams by the trial operators.

Teams will be set up to have similar skill levels, then referred onto one of the following competitions:
- Howick Leisure Centre Adult Basketball League (Casual - Monday Evenings)
- Barfoot & Thompson Centre Adult League (Casual - Thursday Nights)
- EBA Men's League at The Y Panmure (Premier - Saturday Midday/afternoons)
- Keep Hoopin' Underdog League (Pro - Pakuranga College, underdog website for details)

Who: YOU! Anyone who's not in school anymore and wanting to play in a basketball team (not age/gender specific, if we get 10 in your group we will make a team!)

There is a maximum allocation due to venue sizes around the area so registerer today.

Who is this for?
The EBA will be hosting Adult Team formation and selection for the local East Auckland Basketball Leagues. Only for players in Howick, Pakuranga, Botany, Panmure, St Johns & Ormiston Suburbs.

Join us every Sunday at Rombus Cafe for EBA's weekly meet and greet with players in Howick, Auckland from 2 to 5 PM.
NBA & Beers on tap.
Not having a home base has always made local baller life challenging, so come down and thank Rombus for allowing us a spot!
